Shart Acidity

Anybody have anecdotal evidence of its capabilities? I am sure that there can be a range of acidity and threat, but in general I am under the impression that it is pretty volatile stuff.

There is the famous "bathroom painting" story from Doug, but there have also been numerous reports of corroded jeans, etc. Anybody care to step forward?
