Who in the cast(if anybody) is a member of the Church?
Is the actor playing Joseph?

reply

Eric Johnson, Brenda Strong, Tiffany Dupont, Alexander Carroll and Jonathan Scarfe aren't Mormon, however, Brighton Hertford is and so is, I think, Sarah Darling. I don't know about anyone else.

I think its funny that one of the only mormons in this movie was the guy who played Will Murdock (the bad guy)!

It's really only about 50-70% depending on the region, but yeah.

I'm an extra in WAG2 and WAG3, and a Mormon. I'm not a reall mobber, but I play one in the movies. I was the only Mormon mobber that had any camera time. A couple of others I know started off as mobbers but reappear as townsfolk. There really were very few members of the church in any of the films. They were all shot in East Tennessee and we all have jobs, so it's not always easy to get to the site. A lot of locals or local transplants appear in the films. It was fun being a mobber as they tended to get more camera time and more action. Simple extras as townspeople seemed to walk up and down streets a lot. I found out that an extra is a human prop and adds color to the scene, and it's hard work for little glory.
Still, I did get to trash Edward Partridge's print shop, get beat up in a barfight, interact with some horses and a stagecoach, and scream and yell when the mob was formed in the tavern. Great fun!

Do you have any speaking parts? I'd like to see if I can see you. It'd be cool to chat with somebody from the movie.

Look carefully, though... where there are members, there are also the people who devote their lives to ruining ours.
