Does anyone else have a Purell obsession?

I do. I carry a miniature one with me everywhere I go. I saw a show one time about how nasty some people can be and that is all it took. It does work. I rarely get a cold, the flu, etc…

I keep a small hand santizer in my purse and a larger squirt one in my car. Every time I get into my car after being in public, I use it. Don't need anyone else's colds or MRSA.

At home, I don't use hand sanitizers. I just wash my hands frequently with regular soap and water.

I don't think I would have described it as an obsession...before this movie. I have a small bottle in my car and my purse. I have a large bottle at home and at work. I recently mailed my mother 4 large and 2 small bottles (she can't get out very well). I guess I am a bit obsessed...but the stuff is good.

Oh, boy. Earlier this week on The View it was revealed that hand sanitizers are toxic. So choose your poison. I'd personally rather wash my hands once in awhile and not obsess about germs.

I don't but I know someone who does! We used to work together in the medical records department of a hospital. She would douse herself with it after handling every paper on the charts. And God forbid she got one with blood on it! She would practically call in a Hazmat team for those. Real nice lady, but she was a traveling coder and would take her own pillowcases, etc. to the hotels with her. I'm surprised she wasn't house-bound. Seemed a little strange too that she would choose to work in the medical field (albeit not around patients).

That's how people develop alergies and such, by keeping their environments overly sanitized. We need to expose ourselves to the world to develop antibodies.

Yup. I have a toddler and a newborn. I use it for my toddler's hands after the playground or if we're going to eat and can't wash hands. I use it for quick hand clean after diaper changes too.
