Ok so... I'm midway through the book Night Watch. I'm enjoying it. Even though its translated its still very well written considering. So I've been really excited to see Night Watch and Day Watch for a while and was amped because the trailers made it seem... Well, exciting. I liked both the movies but was kind of peeved that every good exciting part was in the trailers. I expected more action and was pretty disappointed. Story is what matters, I know, but they advertised it as action and well... Neither of them were.

I agree with quite a bit of what you say. The action scenes (and there could have been some good ones) are generally spoilt, by an overuse of special effects, slow motion and poor editing. In this regard, I think the second is actually worse than the first.🐭
