Does anybody know what the green stuff that she eats for energy is? I can't figure it out, but it definitely looks weird :)

Perhaps with tuna/mayo.

Well, since Hideaki Anno is a vegetarian, I'd guess cucumber & avocado ;)

But yeah, I think she even says once or twice "I love onigiri!" and if I'm not mistaken, at her office job she's paid in onigiri (that's the only reason they don't fire her).

The onigiri(rice ball) was made by Japanese chain store that sponser of this movie.

In the scene were she is working late she mentions that she works for Onigiri.
