re-animator?

I have never seen this film but so agree with you.

Totally agree. Just watched it last night and felt a little ripped off, not that it was a wholly bad movie, it was bad but it's heart was in the right place.
The mortitian was a great deal wackier than Jeffery Combs. The blonde kid in the 'Dan Cain' role even hacks the corpes up in the climax with a fire axe. However, Fahey is wasted for the whole movie up until his wacky 'go nuts on Zombies with garden impliments' scenes. That was great to see, Fahey never seems to break type recently.
Even the serum is the same colour as Herbert West's!

This movie did seem like a rip-off of re-animator. It wasn't a bad movie though, it was fairly gory.

Reminded me of Re-Animator as well! An OK movie for a bit of a laugh - not much more though. And Jeff Fahey rocks! :-)
