An excellent movie about a terrible injustice

Just a few minor nitpicks:

First off, I wasn't favourable impressed with Mr. Chamberlain. When the prison guard came to take Lindy away he begged her not to go. He knew she had no choice, why make it harder than it was? And, almost immediately accepted Azaria's disappearance as God's will. He kept his faith which is admirable in a situation like that. The way he expressed it though sounded defeatist, even dismissive.

Second, no one apparently thought of one critical detail: Mrs. Chamberlain stayed neat and clean that night. Had she cut Azaria's throat, she would have been covered with blood unless she'd killed Azaria's first in which case there would have been no arterial blood spraying that was supposedly they are found in the car. The only explanation I can think of this is that it was so obvious it never occurred to anyone.
