Ive just started watching this anime and i really like it, along with princess tutu and princess princess, but in the first episode pacifica leans in and whispers in shannon's ear that she loves him and he says that he already knew. i was wondering does this progress into a proper relationship. they're adopted brother and sister so it would be legal coz they not related by blood. but i desperately want to know if they hook up because that would be so cute.

No, they don't get together. It's clear that they both have feelings beyond that of siblings but it doesn't go any further.

oh well i can always hope. they would be good together though because they compliment each other her being so passive and him being all moody.

I'm really glad that wasn't the case because that'd of just killed the series for me. The three sibling's love was just soo beautiful. This and Full Metal Alchemist made me want to cry because of that aspect of both shows. Q_Q

But there is a character who acts and looks like Shannon that she interacts with and a guy with a crush on her.

yer i went back and watched it again and realised that i think what she was trying to say was "even though i seem like a selfish brat and dont treat you very nicely, i still love you (as brother)" and i think he was just shocked at first seeing as shes always shouting then he's like "i know"..... yep i really did miss the point didnt i?
