This show was really fun at first, but.......

......here's a new season. And just like the nightmare chefs' ingredients, it's gone stale. The conflict and contrived drama with the clueless/stubborn/denial owners and their rundown premises and Ramsay's responses have become obviously scripted. The unreadable disclaimer in the closing credits has grown from one paragraph to 3.

Speaking of credits, anyone notice how many people are credited under "casting". CASTING? Doesn't that concept conflict with "reality"? Everyone whose face is seen unblurred is cast. If they are cast, they are told what to say and what to do.

I'll still watch the new ones and the reruns. But only because cable in general has become a quagmire of mediocrity.
