I'm watching it right now and I must say this is UTTER CRAP. Any1 agree?

A bunch of old people talking about uninteresting nonsense. Pfft, I can't believe they promoted this as if it were The OC of the summer. Total let down.

I can't wait for The OC and Athens. For those who don't know Athens. It's the REAL 'Next OC' or 'OC spinoff.' Same creator as The OC. There are also two male friends ala Ryan and Seth. And obviously, it is all set in Athens. The series starts in January of 2005. Just a few months after the beginning of OC's season 2.

Brook Burns is a terrible actress!!!!!. So how many weeks until the North Shore is taken off the air ?? This show is pure garbage and i agree with the other post the show is so unrealistic with everyone being incredibly beautiful and tall. Brooke Burns is just another dumb bitch who isn't even that good looking she should stick to dog eat dog oh wait didn't that get cancelled? Bruce just used her for sex.

That MJ chick pisses me off with her over dramatic acting and crap. This show is the next "Skin" thank God i have Summerland to fall back on for the Summer. Hopefully, if this show continues, it's gets a little more in depth, the actors get better, and the story's turn out to be good, and give us a little insight as to what's been happening. We just get a bunch of characters thrown into some Hawaiian setting, and they expect us to realize what's going on. It's pretty dumb, but if it stays on (Doubtful) it'll at least keep my interest until The OC and One Tree Hill return.

Who knows though, it might even get better...hopefully...

We're actually just getting ONE TREE HILL here now in Canada in June 30th. I've been wanting to see that for so long. So that's one thing to anticipate for me.

I tuned it to give North Shore the benefit of the doubt, but I couldn't stomach more than the first 20 minutes. It's just awful. The dialouge is borderline Daytime Soap

Exactly my thoughts. I couldn't agree more on the dialogue and the characters. It's just sooooooo boring. And to think I was actually one of the few who was defending this against all those who called it a no good OC rip-off. I kinda regret doing that now.

yup it's pretty corny so far. but the girls are fine( brooke burns and brittany daniel) even the chick thats playing 15 years old and the location of hawaii looks great as well. and it does beat summer re-runs. so ill guess ill be watching for the summer time only.

Ok, now that i've actually PAID ATTENTION to it. It's not THAT bad. Put aside the sometimes corny acting, dialogue, situations and what not, and it's ALMOST all right. So far that 15 year old girl and Gabriel's storyline is the only one i'm interested in, along with Nicole's and that dude that's like the manager.

Still pretty corny, but it'll definitly keep my interest over the summer if it can last that long.

Ha. man they threw a lesbian twist right in the very first episode. So they got rape allegation, and lesbians so when are the heavy drugs coming? second or third episode?

I'm online and watching, but that bit where the girl accusses Gabriel did caught my attention. BUTTTTTTTTTTTTT I STILL CAN'T GET pass through the fact that Burns can't act. And as mentioned earlier, she's NOT that hot!

Overall...the shows all right. Brooke isn't great at acting (Don't make me call security! Had to be the WORST line she spat out) i'll warm up to it sooner or later, it's an okay show, they threw in a lesbo twist, some rape lie, it's pretty good for a primetime soap. I'll watch it.

BTW does anyone know the name of the song from the end of the show the "This is the time of our lives" song?

actually its more of a Las Vegas ripoff than of OC... it's las vegas in hawaii...

brooke burns looks alot smarter as a brunette...

that 15 year old is Leighton Meester, though she's not 15 in real life more like late teens or early 20's...

i think Brittany Daniel and Leighton Meester were only on the first episode as guest stars...

Amanda Righetti will be joining the cast in the next episode, she is hot!! she was Hailey from the OC>...

Well, she won't be part of the cast that long as the show is pretty boring. They better get things going on the next episodes or they'll soon be off the air.

Yep. This show makes you wonder why the producers just didn't donate the money for charity instead.

The only not crappy moments are when Shannen Doherty appears.

no the crappiest moments are wen shannon doherty is there...i can see how people resemble it too las vagas...but it hasnt really got the same vibe (tropical island..las vegas..=S) i dont think so =) kinda like comparing australia to america....because there BOTH countries...=|
