This show was excellent. Loved the cast and the stories. As far as I know Jason is still in jail! It seems there was at least one ep that never aired on Fox. That sucks.

are you kidding ? this show was crap ! no plot, no directing, no acting till Shannen Doherty arrived, no nothing.
Shannen herself couldn't carry the whole thing on her shoulders being filled with so much buffalo dumps.

shareI agree that this show was trash, but it has nothing to do with Doherty not being on it early on. It has to do with the two TERRIBLE leads in the show, neither of which can act as evident by their long STRINGS of FAILED shows and guest starring spots that got actual successful shows cancelled within days of them appearing.
If they needed a fecal 'transplant,' just feed 'em one of the "Grey's Anatomy" scripts.
You forgot to mention that the female lead, Brook Burns, was in TITANIC 2 LOL
shareI really liked this show! I don't know what you mean when you say the acting was bad, I mean sure it wasn't fantastic but compared to other shows of the same genre it was great. I especially enjoyed Shannen Doherty.
It's a pity we never got a second season, I would have loved to have seen how things would have played out.
I liked it. It was Melrose Place to The OC's Beverly Hills 90210. Well sort of, I always wished that Amanda Righetti played the same character on both shows, and it probably would have worked better had they written it that way and made her the lead, but I got the impression from her debut being the in the second episode, that she was an afterthought. Shannen never wowed me on this, but she was a hell of a lot better than Brooke Burns. Overall just a guilty pleasure with a fun tropical setting. It was definitely way better than the new 90210.

In one episode of the OC Jimmy said to Hayley(Amanda) that he was living in Hawaii & that she should visit the North Shore as she would love it. Nice little in-joke .
