What happens in Naruto? questions about some characters.

So, first I want to say that I am not a huge anime fan. I do enjoy some older movies like Vampire hunter D and Fist of the north star, but never really got into shows.

My friend kept telling me about Legend of Korra so I watched it and really enjoyed it. Then he told me to watch Naruto.

I have watched about 150 episodes of Naruto on youtube, and some of it I like and some I don't like, but I do have some questions.

1. That guy Sauske (probably spelled wrong), left to join up with Orrochimaru. What happens? Does he ever go back and team up with Naruto?

2. The kid Lee, when I last watched the show he was injured really bad, and was told that he would never fight again. I know that the lady hokage healed him, but was he ever able to fight again?

3. Did any of the characters naruto went to school with end up dying? Does anything happen to the ninja that trained them (the guy with the mask that covers half his face)?

thanks

Um..why are you asking this lol?

Right…You say 150 Episodes yes? That means you're in Filler story lines now. No wonder you're asking this. The main storyline has kind of stopped.

Um…hold on.

Okay. Finish watching Episode 151 to finish that filler arc. Might as well and Hinata is awesome anyway so not a big deal.

I'm gonna give you a list of Fillers you should watch because it develops some side characters and mentions some others never seen.

Watch Episode 152 to 157

158 isn't bad if you wanna see what the characters would be like if they were teaching younger students.

159 to 160 is a Naruto, Kiba and Hinata Storyline if you like them. Its not bad.

Skip the rest and start watching again from Episode 169 to 173. This is about Anko and some returning villains and other stuff with cameos from Orochimaru and Sasuke.

Episode 177 has Jiraiya. Anything with Jiraiya is golden.

Skip the rest and start watching again IF YOU WANT from Episode 187 to 191. Naruto, Hinata and Choji. Hinata is awesome in this arc so why not. If you want to, otherwise skip it along with others to Episode 195 to 196 which features Guy and Lee and has them fighting at one point and its a good episode that develops the two of them as master and student even more.

197 to 201 has every character appear in order to solve a mystery. This is really the one time only where everyone, still young and learning comes together. Good Filler Arc in my opinion.

If you want some episodes with Kurenai whose never really developed then watch Episodes 203 to 207. But you can skip it if you want.

Skip the rest and watch Episodes 216 to 220. Its a Gaara storyline with a filler character that appears in the canon here and then and the last episode is canon but continues from the previous episode.

After you watched 220 start watching NARUTO SHIPPUDEN. That's Part 2 and should answer all your questions as the series now reaching its final. Seriously, don't spoil it or ruin it for yourself.

ok cool, I will take a look at the episodes you mentioned. I am interested in finding out what happens, but the last episodes I watched were all flashbacks, and I was getting bored of seeing the same stuff over and over. For example, I want to know what happens with Sauske and his brother, but there were like 3-5 episodes that kept showing flashbacks when Sauske was a kid. It felt like the story was not progressing.

I think that all part of the canon as it developed Sasuke and his brother in the past and showed what happened.

The Episodes I've mentioned are all fillers for Part 1. You can if you want just skip to Episodes 216 to 220 and then start watching Shippuden.

Good advice: Avoid the fillers.
