I'm sorry but WHAT THE *beep*?! Shouldn't it be a person who isn't popular/not confident in front of people. I haven't been in high school for a while but usually the bitchy cheerleader and the head football player are the EXACT people who always win.

I did indeed. It showed the football player, who was EXTREMELY popular not even really giving two craps if he won or not. We then saw a little bit of emotions with his mother, but overall he was very boring. And he won anyways. It was super sweet when his mom was there but he was likely to be homecoming King anyways.
Then the girl, was an entitled snobby bitch the entire episode, didn't sympathize with her once. They tried to make the viewers feel compassion for her not having very many friends and trying to turn over a new leaf, but she doesn't have friends because she was rude to everyone.
Overall the episode just made absolutely no sense to me. They weren't even "making" them into anything. Just following two popular people trying to be homecoming king or queen. So dumb.
