What happened to Naomi Wheeler?

I saw the series for the first time recently (on TNT or AMC or something) and maybe I missed it, but what ever happened to Naomi Wheeler after she got kidnapped ?

She's only in that episode so -- nobody knows. Presumably, she popped out a bunch of kids with her Indian husband and... died eventually.

Steven Spielberg actually cut a few more of her scenes from the final production. Star Jay Tavare has said (he played her Indian husband) that his final scenes were cut where his character actually gets killed in an attack on the tribe. I guess we can assume that either Naomi gets taken by the tribe attacking with her son or escapes with other members of the tribe.

Even though Naomi Wheeler (a.k.a. Five Horses) began to love her new life with the Cheyenne, in author Max McCoy's book it wasn't a happy ending.
It is said that Naomi is captured by White Soldiers when the Cheyenne camp is attacked and her husband Chief Prairie Fire is killed but their son One Horn Bull lives and another Cheyenne woman saves him. Later the Soldiers tie Naomi to a tree but she manages to escape, presumably back to the camp. Nothing else is said about her character.
I remember seeing some pictures of her being dragged away by the Solders kicking and screaming! It’s obvious she’s suffering from Stockholm syndrome.
