Is it just me, or does Russell just completely turn around a bad episode. Last ep was kind of dragging then he jumpped on stage and starting singing kareoke. I was laughing my @$$ off. Next ep. he gets arrested by the FBI for drugs, so that should be a pretty interesting bulid up for next season (if there is one). What if he loses his job? Gets fined huge amounts of money? Right now he's a rich lawyer and throws money at anything that is a problem. What if he can't do that anymore next season? I can't wait. I hope they don't blow this got opportunity.

I could totally see that happening, and happening soon...like right before the baby is born.

I actually like the interaction between Kelly and Russell, she brings him down a notch, but she can't control him. If she'd stop being pregnant and bitchy, I'm sure other people would like her as well. I'm also glad that Russell is trying to take the initiative and be there for his kid, that's really admirable these days.

I hope it makes you feel good to point out the shortcomings of others.

Russell is just out there. Every time you see him he's getting himself in big trouble and making himself look like a total jackass. I gotta admit though he does it in a way that you cannot help but laugh hysterically.

I think she might be. Why else would she put up with so much of his bad side? She CONSTANTLY defends him in the most protective way possible. If it were me, I would do the complete opposite and try to disconnect myself from his problems.

I'm not sure she's in love with Russell. I think she sees the good qualities in him and wants him to do better, and I think the speech she gave to Kelly was truthful.

I wasn't sure that she was entirely truthful about Russell -- I think she thinks he can be a sweetie, but I also think she was trying to make Kelly feel better.

I adore Russell, but I don't know how he's going to get out of paying some price for Pepper's death. Sure, he didn't kill her, but it's going to become clear that he gave her drugs, or at least did them with her.

I think Russell and Maggie really care deeply about each other -- I loved his message to her from the Korean bar -- and it's clear that Maggie wants him to be a better person. I'm not sure the drug bust was the best way to do it -- most interventions require more than one person who makes a call to the FBI -- but it was important to show how much she cares for him.

The next season should be quite interesting.

But Beth needs an attitude adjustment as much as Huff does.

There is no denying Oliver Platt's brilliance in the role of Russell. There aren't a lot of actors out there who can completely command the screen the way he does. He also has the very rare ability to make every bit of dialogue that comes out of his mouth sound improvised...and there are only a handful of actors who can do that.

IMHO, it's you. I like Oliver Platt, but I don't like Russell.

Again, just my opinion.

Actors do not have a job...they have a blast!

I hated that they canceled this right before it got good. However, I hated that they killed Pepper. I wish it was a different hooker and she helped him get out of it.
