Can anyone let me know about how many episodes long this TV series is and what's the duration of each episode, half hour or one hour?

There are 70 episodes.

I had 54 episodes in my DVD box set, each episode approximately 60 minutes.

There are 70 episodes in the China edition due to editing for commericial/air-time reasons.

The original is 54 episodes, which is available from Yesasia.
