I'm really looking forward to buying this series but I'm confused over the options available and would appreciate some clarification if anyone out there could help me.

First of all, I live in the UK and although I have a multiregion DVD player I would prefer to buy Region 2 discs if possible. This said, here are my buying options from Amazon.co.uk.

Burst Angel Complete 1-7 REGION 2
Burst Angel Infinity (listed at 25 minutes running time) REGION 2
Burst Angel Complete 1-7 + OVA (listed as an extra 15 minutes running time) REGION 1
Burst Angel OVA (listed at 25 minutes running time) REGION 1

So there's my confusion for you. Is the region 2 Burst Angel Infinity the same as the region 1 Burst Angel OVA? Why is the region 1 box set + OVA listed at only 15 minutes longer than the episodes on their own, when the OVA sold seperately is 25 minutes long?

I just want to know what to buy to be sure I have all the available releases without buying the same thing more than once in different formats. Can anyone help?

Not sure if you still need answers to these questions, but:

Should be. I'm a pretty big fan, and Infinity is the only OVA I've heard of.

Mis-print, maybe? The OVA is twenty-five minutes, just like a regular episode. I wouldn't advise getting it separately, though, unless you can get it for cheap. The Region 1 version (Region 2 may be different) advertises 110 minutes of extras, but most of them are just recaps of the series.
