FLORIDA vs HOLLYWOOD

I've done both and I must say that Florida's ride was worth the price of admission to the park alone. Hollywood's didn't even come close. The entire park doesn't come even close to Florida's. About the only good thing about Hollywood's park is that you can take a tour of where a lot of movies were actually made, and see the props and towns where filming is done, other than that, everything is way better in Florida, especially the Mummy ride. It's about half as long, and the effects are nowhere near what Florida has.

USF kicks the crap out of USH! On the case of the mummy ride, USH has its good parts. I like that its more coaster then USF and you go backwards more and at the end when you get the mist blown into your face. I like in USF the "are you insane? Get out of here! The curse is real, this whole place is a trap. He's after your souls". Then i like the wall dip and the launch going up instead of going straight(ush).

If i had to pick a better ride, i would pick the one in Orlando but some things need to go. USH has a better theme and a better pre-show video but USF has a better line. Much more detailed!

Oh, I DEFINATELY like Florida's ride much better. It's much more thrilling to me....and it's even fun when waiting in line!

I liked how the Hollywood one went backwards though...that was cool.

Didn't the Florida one go backward in it;s debut at the park? I remeber, I use to get so scared at that part, but recently, as of 2005, the Universal Studios Florida one doesn't go backwards. Anybody know what i'm talkin about?

FLORIDA.

The Mummy in Orlando does go backwards for a brief moment. It's pretty cool.

The Mummy in Orlando is a lot better than the one in Hollywood, but Hollywoods does go backwards longer. The roller coaster in florida lasts around a minute longer than hollywoods, however if you look at the park of USF, and not Islands of Adventure, I consider the parks about equal.

i definitely like florida's better than hollywood's. and i just got back from LA so this is what i remember from florida a few years ago and hollywood a few days ago.

Florida-- more effects and a better story/theme to the whole ride. it's pretty long for a coaster too. the start is a little better in my opinion with the hill instead of shooting off like california. it only went backwards for a second, but it was still a great time. orlando's is also more designed to be more of a 3rd/4th movie and it had an actual storyline with it. you get a lot more for your money here. even the queue and the outside of it just looks better and fits in more with the movie than the 2 giant anubis(i think?) statues in front of hollywood.

Hollywood-- a better coaster in general, with the backwards part a lot longer than orlando's, and i'm not a fan of going backwards, but it was really fun. it's a whole lot shorter and in my opinion cheaper than orlando's. i heard they changed things on the ride to make it scarier since it opened though. i had seen videos of it before the updates, and i think they kept the old ending of the ride up in the station in a window.

yeah i'm not too good at reviews or anything, but that's kind of what i thought jumbled in there. they were both great rides, i just prefer orlando's about a thousand times more. either way, the fact that there is a mummy ride is awesome to me.

I definitely liked Hollywood more. It had much more backwards. I went on that one first and a year later, went to Orlando. I was so disappointed at Orlando since I had to wait for about an hour and found out it was hardly a ride.

Yeah , the Florida park is better. The Mummy ride is awesome!!!!!!!!!

Florida FTW!!!

Florida all the way... but hollywood has more creepy feeling when the ride first starts

I don't know what it is about a crowd, the bigger it is, the more people that show up.

Revenge of the Mummy ride in Hollywood is lame. Over far too quickly. A real let down!

USF is far superior!

Been to both but the Hollywood ride is more memorable.

It's that man again!!
