Is if you are/were a fan of Everybody Loves Raymond or King of Queens, then you probably hated this movie, and if you hate their shows, you probably enjoyed this movie. I'm guessing not what they were going for, but after reading many many posts, the vast majority seem to support this. Struck me as funny.
shareI didn't hate either of their shows; but I didn't watch them very often either, so I think you have a point. I bought a cheap second-hand copy on a whim and I expected it to be pretty bad, so I ended up being pleasantly surprised. It was actually pretty good, I gave it 7/10. Much worse movies have had wide theatrical releases.

ditto, pretty much. king of queens looks funny but I've never watched it. I've seen an episode or 2 of Ray's show and it's funny. this deserves around a 7/10. even if they don't think its funny, it's still a good movie. hell, Dr. strangelove is a comedy and people who don't like dark humor still love watching it.
shareI watch both King of Queens and Everybody Loves Raymond, and I love this movie as well as their shows. I never expected to laugh at this movie, I didn't know it was supposed to be a comedy which I keep reading about. I love it for what it is.
shareIt was an odd casting choice because these comedians are both known for a certain style of comedy but I applaud them as actors for branching out; this was a very unique film.
