Funny? I wouldn't say so. I watched it last night...pretty stupid if you ask me. I almost turned it off 30 minutes into it.

What was funny about it? Name one joke in it that was laughable? Heck, name one joke in it period.

eh, a movie doesn't have to have jokes to be funny. The actors do their part to make the film funny. from Kevin James facial expressions when Tony is grilling the steaks to the part where Ray is running around trying to allude the killers. These two guys make a good comedic team, without having to throw in those crappy jokes we see too often in these new comdies out now. .Iit's called classic humour

How is grilling steaks funny?
Trying to allude the killers are what?
I think that gags and jokes are what make a comedy funny, in a way that makes a person laugh. I don't want to see a comedy because it is funny by some other meaning.

Overall, the movie sucked. The only chuckle I got out of it was from Burt Reynolds when Romano and James were selling their meat to him. They said "it melts in your mouth." Burt Reynolds responded by shouting at his chefs, "Ya hear that?! You don't even need teeth!" The line itself wasn't all that funny, but the way he said it was entertaining. However, this little chuckle was not worth choking on the 83.95 minutes of the movie.

This movie was terrible... I watched all of it, but I had to do it in 20-30 minute increments because I had to take little breaks. I was falling asleep.

This movie was an abomination to the film industry. I don't throw that comment around very often either... In fact, I've only said that about one other movie... "The Avengers" (and maybe "The Rig").

Come on, the Madden part was funny!

When Kevin James said "I'm gonna punch you in the *beep* the world's funniest line EVER!!!!

Very funny. I think it worked for me because the whole salesmen thing was dead on accurate. I know. I sold for a living. They weren't afraid to take the story and the characters right over the top, either. Perhaps not as well made as, say, The Cadillac Man but just as funny!

For a comedy of its type, it was pretty good. When watching ANY comedy, you should view it with an open mind since this genre comes in various contexts, from dark humor right down all the way to simple Abott & Costello fare. GRILLED had its humorous moments, beginning with the overall plot regarding the salemen's predicament! I'd definitely watch it again.

i really enjoyed this movie i wouldnt by any means say it was great but it was funny, and i liked the characters and the plot. i cant really understand why it went straight to dvd because there are far worse movies that make it to theaters and they dont even have a cast of pretty much all well known actors/actresses

I loved this movie and I can't stand Ray Ramono. As much as I dislike his acting though he is incredible in this movie. Also Kevin James plays the part of a salesmen to a "T" I was so convinced by his performance that I started looking through his biographies to see if I could find any evidence of him doing sales when he was younger. I loved almost everything about this movie and I can't believe it got such horrible reviews and critism.
