When I saw her in this movie and was taking in the "she once was a man" story line, the first thing that popped into my head was that the filmmakers took their first look at her and thought that they had made up a funny "inside joke" by positing the idea that she had started life out as a man, which also by one look at her is clearly NOT possible.
She is about the most feminine and womanly looking creature on the planet.
A lot of the hottest women in the world used to be men. That's because hot women need a few masculine features such as height, chiseled faces, husky voices, etc. Take that all away and at best you're left with cute. But if you want hot, you need to take a few steps on the wild side.
