Who sings "Somewhere Over the Rainbow" in the trailer/movie?
Its a great rendition of the song...
"Somewhere Over the Rainbow" is done by a great new group called "Kanekoa" from Maui. Lead singer Kaulana Kanekoa is backed up by Vince Esquire, ukeleles by both Kaulana and Vince, other instrumentals by Travis Rice, Shawn Loughran, and Brett Nelson. They recently recorded their third album! Check them out at kanekoa.com or My Space.com. They will be making a DVD in March. We should be seeing a lot more of them soon!!

shareyes that song was peformed by myself (vince) and Kaulana from Kanekoa. it was actually quite a fluke how it happend. Our manager told us about the oppertunity to have a version of it on the movie soundtrack, and never havng ever performed or even played the song together before (but having heard it a million times between us) we went into the studio and laid it down. What came out was pure, raw magic. the director loved it and decided to use it. We usually have bass, drums and percussion but for this track we just wanted one ukulele and a vocal track.
