Who was the crying guy?

For a somewhat up-beat, light-hearted movie, there sure was a lot of crying in it. Anybody know who was the old guy in the widowers group who kept doing all the phony crying? I don't remember if they said his character's name. There were so many actors I recognized or knew from other things and most of them were so good. But that actor sort of bugged me. It looked so cartoonish compared to what everybody else was doing. My opinion, anyway. Anybody got a clue who that actor is? Some celebrity I just am not familiar with?

I kept thinking that the guy looked familiar, but I also have no idea where I've seen him before or what the actors name is. Alot of the secondary actors listed for this movie on imdb have no photo so its hard to tell.

Nope, not related. In fact we don't know each other at all. Growing up, I was the only Mecca around. At 25, I still have yet to meet anyone else with my name so CharlieMecca if Mecca is part of your real name, nice to finally encounter someone else with it.

Back on topic...thank you PJ Tom for clearing up who the actor was. He didn't particularly bother me, I think they were trying to be funny with his constant crying and were playing it badly on purpose, but I can see how others could have been annoyed.

Yes, MsMecca, my family name is Mecca. I know several of us. Lots of them in Philadelphia.
