... was because it took place at the sun village. i visited there in august 2005 & it was amazing! it's sucha abeautiful resort & if anyone is thinking about visiting the caribean, go there. ps: this isnt really in san lucas. its in the domincan republic. in the city of puerto plata. it was so great looking at the resort on tv it brought back alot of great memories

shareI went to this resort also. I hiked around the rocks to where they filmed it before I even knew it was filmed there. I went to high school with chris carmack in Maryland. its good to see he is finally getting his break. It is a nice resort but there are a few problems. Its built on a hill. So to get from point A to Point B you have to go up or down a steep flight of stairs. Now imagine going from Point A to Point D. To get from the main pool to the beach you have to walk down 4 flights of stairs. Also there are way too many trees on the beach blocking the sun. The puerto Plata country side is beautiful. Its night and day from the other side of the island. Puerto plata is on the north side which is on the atlantic. The ocean is a lot more rough, Than the south side on the carribean where its calm and crystal clear.
