I've been reading alot of the posts and stuff on here and they're nearly all negative. And I was wondering... am i the only one that liked this movie?

I mean I can get where they're coming from. It's a very cheesy and pretty unrealistic movie but that's what most chick flicks are like anyway! I really liked this movie! If there are any tween-teen girls out there that love chick flicks and Amanda then this is the movie for you! I mean i'm a teenager but i still liked it!

Just my thoughts...

I played poker with tarot cards... I got a full house and four people died!!

Well, my sister thought it was okay, although I disliked it for its terrible craftmanship. I will say, though, that I disagree that most chick-flicks are cheesey, as I like a lot of them, like Love Actually, or Kate and Leopold. It doesn't have to be cheesey to be a chick flick.

I will say though that I'm glad you liked it, even if I didn't. I respect your opinion.

Nope your not the only one. I liked it too. It will never be the greatest film ever but it was entertaining, had a decent if not a little farfetched plot and some good laughs. I think it deserves a better rating than 4.8/10...

I love Amanda. I love her movies. But this one deceived me. She's the man is SO MUCH BETTER!

I totaly loved it every one i know who watched it loved it, Amanda Bynes is such a great actress and is going to go very far in the industry. so to all those haters and downers, you don't know Amazing films when you see them..

Amanda once again completely rokx, and that's it. This movie is good, it's not supposed to be an amazing fantastic movie of course, it's a funny story & i've already seen it many many times. I can't get tired of Amanda. Let me just add that Masters character is also pretty cool. This is a total lay back summer flick. You gotta like it! How many chances do we get to see someone kill a fish w/ a punch?! =P

I have to admit, punching the fish was one of the better moments, but the movie just wasn't good. The plotline was interesting, but the dialogue largely bit the big one, and most of the cast was wasted (in either sense of the word). Amanda was good (although it wasn't her best work), Ribeiro was good, & a few of the minor characters were good.

And so help me, the music in this movie made me want to rip my ears out with a fork.
Also, how hard is it to get a halfway-decent audio mix on the post-production dubbing?

My sister and I loved it!!! and we are in our mid twenties!!
what's not to like, you have Amanda Bynes in it and she's really cute and funny.

In Holland its just released, after 2 years, and its okey, predictable but entertaining.

I liked it, a lot actually. It didn't really seem like a movie made for theaters though. I liked the direction actually, it was quick and fast paced and perfect for a comedy. Amanda was adorable, charming, and funny. I liked thr storyline between her and Ryan. Amanda sort of didn't have enough to do. But she did great in a movie so only had to be good in. Kathy Griffin was underused too. Overall I liked the story, it had laughs, romance, and good music. Perfect for a rainy afternoon. I have the DVD too.

i really liked it, i thought it was funny and cute.
i'm 27, but i think its irrelevent what age its meant for cos its just a fun, light hearted movie.
i'd never heard of amanda bynes before, but i thought she was good in the role.
