How much do you think she had?

Remember mr kragens lady friend said shes loaded
Considering her vacation aswell.

What do you predict she had?

Also, how much did she win at the casino?

reply

Don't know how much she had going out there, but she won almost $100,000 at the casino.

She knew how much the hotel was (she didn't expect the presidential suite until she got there so that is an added few grand) and the food and she knew she needed new clothes. She didn't hesitate on the massages or the tours. I would say she went out there with $30,000 or maybe $50,000. Her character is the type to scrimp and save. Plus, we don't know if her parents left her any money or if she had a savings. I doubt she had it anything higher than $50,000.

Iirc, at the bank she mentioned her mom left her bonds.

A 100k maybe? Quite realistic for someone in America to save up, even as a store clerk (full time, big store, permanent employee, company health insurance), when pretty thrifty and denying herself all pleasures for probably 15 years, in combination with some bonds from her parents (20k?).

I think 100k also is about the amount you spend in 3 weeks splurging like she did. Hotel is 3000 a night so 63k, first class flight to Europe 6k, 5k to rent a helicopter on the spot, fancy dinners probably 300-500 a night, 1k base jumping for rich people with private instructor, 20k on designer clothes in a chic shop in a rich people's resort town. Then some spa treatments and ski-ing with private instructor, but those things won't be that expensive on the scale we're talking about, add a generous 2k for those little things. (hotel costs are given in the movie, the rest is my own estimate)

100k is also how much she won in the casino so that's probably karma evening it out :)

100k might also get you started on a small restaurant (maybe a bigger one with some business loans / investments from her new rich friends - renting the building, not owning it)

(in euro's, in dollars the same amount would be 125k)
