did i miss something? why sneak back into the country?
unless i missed a part of the movie which i doubt why did eddie have to sneak back into the u.s. with tito's help, he even states he has a passport to the border patrol. anyone?

sharelila burned his wallet (meaning his license) and his passport. since they were in mexico, he had no proof id identification.. thus making him an "immigrant".
basically he couldn't prove his U.S. citizenship w/o a passport or license or any other form of identification.
Yeah, he even tells the annoying Mencia's character (Tito, I believe)that he can't go back to the US with no papers and it takes like a month to get them...
shareWould it really be that difficult to go to the border or US embassy and explain what happened and let them check your picture/fingerprints tell them your social security number or whatever you needed to do to prove you were a US citizen? Sure it might be hard, but nowhere near as hard as trying to sneak over and going through all that crap.
But of course just going to the embassy wouldn't have make a funny segment of the movie like sneaking into america would..
