Did anyone RAGE at the end?

Seriosuly this movie was so *beep* up.
They tried to stretch the movie but it didn't work out. also the ''feel good'' ending totally sucked and it just made me aggressive.

what a crap movie

It wasn't a feel-good ending

You mean the part where Miranda returns to the beach after being divorced to try and get back with Eddie and they make a date (formula for happy ending) and then it turns out Eddie is there with yet another clueless wife that he'll lie to and cheat on?

Yeah that was kind of a killjoy.

reply

I did think that particular ending funny and ironic because his latest and most
clueless wife was Eva Longoria(obviously in a cameo). When you consider Eva in her "Desparate housewife" role it is a bit funny.Actually,I accidentally saw this flick in a chopped up condition on TV and didn't care for it,but was curious how it would end.The early "Heartbreak Kid" (1972)was quite good.

I thought the ending was better than most movies like this. Eva Longoria as his second wife was actually quite funny.

Wow....OK so I just saw the ending......... I really thought this movie might pull it out. It didn't.

Yeah I would have liked to see him with Miranda, but that way? I mean I know about being in love but man this ending, really the whole movie sucked.

I can't say I've ever said that about a Ben Stiller movie before. Usually he has SOME redeeming qualities. Zero in this....

I thought the ending was amazing. If you think about the time difference he must have married her in like a few months of meeting her (like last time). The fact that he hadn’t learned anything and was going to do the whole thing again was great – hardly ‘feel good’ tho. Don’t know where you get that idea from
