Actually, Tim, you couldn't be more wrong. I was and am a big fan of the show and no I didn't recognize him. In character, he seemed familiar to me but The greater Los Angeles area is huge and has 18.5 million people jammed in very close proximity. He could very well have been someone I'd seen in traffic that takes the same route I do commuting to work...this is an area of the country where celebrity sightings are a regular occurrence so you get numb to it. And he was dressed like a cholo another regular occurrence in L.A. Not to mention the show plays to their targets emotions. In times of duress your immediate response isn't "Hey maybe this is just an elaborate hoax!" At least that's not usually my response.
But in the end it's just entertainment. And since you've watched the show enough that you're 100% positive that in any situation you absolutely know you could identify any cast member at any time then obviously you were entertained. Mission accomplished.
