watching new series,love it,hope it keeps going for a long time

Just watching the first episode of the new series (is it 5?)on BBC.

It is true what many critics say,the first couple of series were only ok,slick but nothing great,the later series are dark, gritty and take the viewer into the world of some bad people.

I hope Nesbitt keeps doing this series for a while,I know it can't last forever but I am enjoying it while it lasts.
Maybe Murphy can go international,imagine him taking on the Italian mafia or Bulgaria hit men?

I saw an interview with James Nesbitt on RTE Television in Ireland a few months ago, and he said that the show started off as more humurous, with Nesbitt doing his usual charming funnyman routine, and the show became more gritty and hardcore.

I'm so pleased that the series had a change of tone from series 3 onwards - it improved it no end.

It became something fantastic. I honestly can't fault it from series 3 onwards.
