Do you ever wish...

... that they would have just one episode once in a while where there is no medical emergency or spattering blood? Because when you binge watch a whole season there sure is a lot of it.

reply

I guess I don't focus on the medical situations as much as I laugh at the ridiculous situations Doc finds himself in. But then, the quirky people are what make this series so enjoyable.

reply

Not really it isnt horor show blood splatter, it adds to the show in either comical fashion or to show Martin's growth as a character,

When the man wo ashemophobia gets covered in blood all the time you should feel empathy or laugh at how much the writers torment him

reply

It's not the blood or the amount per se, but it gets kind of the same doing it in every episode.

reply

Well many shows use this antic, establish a weakness then torture the lead by constantly subjecting them to said weakness,

Removing the blood would change the show, unfortunately docmartin gets over his haemophobia too often and too easily

reply

Nothing wrong with occasional change. Variety is the spice of life.

reply

So canceling the show is an occasional change that variety is the spice of life stuff ignores all the things you don't want to happen in favor of one thing you do,

The show is great

reply

No, that would be a permanent change, not an occasional one.

Do you eat the same meal/wear the same clothes every day? How boring that must be. If so, don't invite me over.
