I'm a bit obsessed with this show now... + DVD info etc + camera used???

I'm a bit obsessed now. It's so incredibly awesome. It's a rarity that I buy TV shows on DVD because we all have bittorrent and itunes, but I felt that I HAD to see it on a bigger screen than my laptop to fully appreciate it. I was just floored by this show so so much. It does take a while to get into, but there was nothing else to see so I stuck with it and now I'm gutted that it's ended.

Amazon has the full R2 DVD if anyone has cracked players...

Does anyone know about it's quality though? I know this series was shot on digital, and probably a high quality digibeta, because the resolution seems slightly different and of lower quality than, say, Lost...but in a strange way I think it works. I notice it more in Betaverse than in the others, because I think there's a lot less effects to mask it in that one, but I was just wondering. They probably saved a lot of money by using that camera, but I was just curious, because usually on big-budget productions it doesn't really matter about which camera is used. Maybe it was because they wanted to shoot in the streets of Cape Town and didn't want to lug around really heavy equipment.

My friend is a cinematographer and I know she would LOVE this series.
