Will the UK DVD be widescreen?

Having just watched the first episode I'm extremely impressed with Charlie Jade. I feel certain I'm going to be wanting this on DVD but it really needs to be in widescreen if I'm going to spend my money. So does anybody know if the UK DVD is going feature Charlie Jade in anamorphic widescreen?

Also does anybody know what extras will be on the DVD set? Any audio commentaries from the cast and crew?

I think Charlie Jade is meant to be widescreen so I would hope so

I have the Japanese DVD box set and it's widescreen....so I assume that the UK one would be as well. There is bonus features on the Japanese set, but (because of the language difference) I'm not sure what bonus features may be on the UK set.

Hello,
I dunno, for I saw the series on the French Television channel "France 4" last year (2006) and I'm still waiting for a dvd set in English... Up to now, I saw nothing coming on amazon.com, amazon.co.uk, amazon.ca or amazon.fr...

But I suppose the episodes will be featured in widescreen format, since they were aired in 16/9 (and dolby sound) on French television...
