What happened to Captain Blacks Coat?

When the mysterons brought Black back as their agent, breaking through the grave lid (Do you think spectrum might have expected this might happen?)flashing his green eyes in the pouring rain with the thunder & lightning.
It was all really cool because he had this awesome coat on blowing in the wind and made him look very evil and as someone else stated, almost vampiric!

But ever shot after that the coat is gone... Why?

Maybe the props department wanted it back...or couldn't trust him not to flog it? He was a soulless, evil, alien-controlled impostor, after all!

Whit sad old loser'd be thick enough to don thon get-up?
