American DVD release?

Anyone heard anything about whether it will get an American DVD release? I just got into it on BBC America, but wasn't able to catch the whole thing. Usually most of the BBC shows that get shown over here end up on DVD for us too, so here's hoping thats the case this time too.

are dvds different in different countries? like videos ?

Yep. Different regions. The british dvds wont play in American players (except for region-free players).
