Finally gave this film another shot

I straight up did not like this film upon seeing it in theaters during its initial release. I've just rewatched it almost ten years later, and while I still don't think Depp and Carter are particularly talented singers, and some of the CGI cityscapes were cheap looking, I found pretty much everything else to be perfect. I don't know if it's because I'm now more familiar with, and fond of, Sondheim's work than I was back then, or if I'm just more open minded in general. Probably a bit of both.
