If you want freedom, move to Europe?

I was once told by a friend that, "America is NOT a free country. If you want freedom you should move to Europe!"
Move to Europe? Why? So you can get fined and/or jailed for questioning the official jewish version of WW2, or get dragged in front of a "human rights tribunal" for saying the n-word? That doesn't sound like liberty to me.
Consider that with a few exceptions like Switzerland, Western Europeans have NO gun rights whatsoever; in England, if you catch a burglar in your home and shoot him, it is YOU, not the burglar, who will be treated as a criminal. Western Europeans also have no freedom of speech; at least, not if what they have to say goes against politically-correct orthodoxy. In other words, Western Europeans have plenty of freedom of speech as long as what they have to say doesn't go against what the establishment wants them to!
Americans take their freedoms for granted. share
