WOW...this movie is about everything...about blues, and there are not so many movies about blues, about love, about a strong woman ,about soul.It's too beautifull.And the most beautifull part, for me, was the love story between Nani and Bill Crosby (Terence Howard did an amazing job) wich is the base of many love stories: "Sometimes a man and a woman have an understanding nobody else understands, not even themselves.'' .Can you believe that this is a TV movie?

It does seem like it should have gone to theaters. It is an exceptional film. I just wanted to point out the fact that it's a cable tv film. Particularly HBO, their productions are usually better than other tv movies. But I believe regular tv movies, and even basic cable tv productions can be better than they are. Standards have gone down tremendously.

There aren't too many films I can think of at all that touched me the way Lackawanna Blues. Great cast, beautiful story.
