This is an amazing film, especially for a remake. Suspenseful, thrilling, great acting and direction. Just so damn depressing at the end. Came to the message board because I just read they are making a tv show based on this. It's a solid concept, could make for a good series, but can't possibly match the intensity of the movie.

That was real? I saw that movie, I thought it was bullsh*t
It was announced last February that a show based on the movie was in development, haven't heard anything since, so no casting news or any news for that matter. Here is the link to the story I read.

I watched it once as a surprise showing while on holiday. I thought it was brilliant, and though I've watched it in pieces since, a second full viewing doesn't appeal to me. Nor would a long-winded tv version.
