I will always remember "Hana and Alice" for this moment. Pure magic.

Me too, I keep going back to see that scene again. I also like the scene where Alice is "de-stressing" with a ninja like mask on. But the ballet scene is one of my favorite scenes of all movies I've seen :)

Oh, absolutely.

I very much liked all the ballet scenes in school, the way the (happy) atmosphere was brought to film, and also thought that the picture taking session was beautifully done. Developed rather a soft spot for the ballet teacher (Tae Kimura) as well...

I agree! As a ballerina myself, I could tell she was no professional but it was still a very nice scene...It was a wonderful film!

Beautiful. Knowing Iwai edited as well as made the song makes the scene even better, in my opinion.
