Fatal Frame 3 or Siren.

I played FF2: Crimson Butterfly and loved it. Siren looks really cool and i've realized that the reviews are mixed. But i'm still eager 2 try it. So IYO which one is the better game 2 get?

IMO, Siren is the better game. It kinda sucks at first, but as you progress, the story/game gets much more interesting. Yes, it's true some of the gameplay/controls could be improved but it's not THAT bad. You should be able to get it at a reduced price also (at least i did).

As for FF3, i'm in the middle of playing it right now. It's not as compelling thus far as FF2 (which i also really liked). I'm hoping it will get better as i move along in it (as Siren did).

What the hell. Buy them both. Just play Siren first :o)

Yep it's really hard at the beginning and without a walkthrough I would not have been able to find the spot where the epiphylum noxypetalum grows. A similar plant really exists. But it got white blooms and it's oxypetalum not noxypetalum.

Sightjacking (seeing through the eyes of the nearby enemies or friends) is really cool. Often you don't have a weapon but weapons are loud and attract attention of the shibitos (kind of zombies) anyway.
It's like a secret ops. The best thing is to avoid to be seen by the enemy. Lure them into traps, run away from them, hide.....

I think it's a really cool scary game with some nice innovations and a great story.

Fatal Frame is the much better game. Siren is really weird, controls suck, graphics are crap and the game just kind of drops of a lot of the story it seems. A bunch of stuff is left unexplained, and the stuff that you need to know to actually get it.

Fatal Frame is in the best survival horror game out there. You want a good horror game get Fatal Frame 3, I own all 3 of them and love em.

I own Siren and it's ok I guess. But definetely no killer game. Plus Siren 2 not coming out to North America was dissapointing, but the reason it wasn't released is because the first Siren hardly sold.

Siren actually has amazing graphics. Especially the characters' faces and such. The story is good, and the gameplay is real nice. It is hard, but that definitely doesn't make it a bad game. It's so realistic, just like real life. I own Siren and all the Fatal Frame games, and although Siren is so cool, I think I would still pick Fatal Frame. But Siren comes very close. I think the only thing I dislike in Siren is the fact that the English voice cast all have English accents, and it kind of ruins the whole Japanese atmosphere. I would rather have had people speaking in English with Japanese or American accents. But that's just my taste. =/

i first bought Siren and i didn't like it because the graphics are soooo bad and the controls are very hard...i played the first level and then the game got stuck...i was like"thank god!!!"
i exchanged it with fatal frame 3 and it has great graphics and a great storyline...its a great game!!!

YOU ARE SOO DEAD!!!

Graphics bad? At the time the game was made, they were ground breaking! You think polygons look better than real faces? Ooookay.

You should have stuck with the game (it got stuck?); it gets a lot better.

Fatal Frame 3 does have good graphics, but the storyline was average IMO. Fatal Frame 2 is much better all round and the best one in the franchise to date.

I have played tons of horror games: japaness (NTSC/J), US(NTSC/UC) and even european (PAL) for PSX & PS2. Siren tops my list, followed by Silent Hill the original one.

By all means Siren is the most scary and hardest game I have ever experienced. If you manage to keep the game rolling, you will be amazed how rich the story is (and it's like 8 characters you can take control), and the most important thing is you really care about each characters. I don't want to spoil you, but

***spoiler*** in the end of the game only 2 will survior.

I was pretty sad by the time i beat the game... sob sob... Heroes will die so the others will live...

Enjoy the game and good luck

Yeah Forbiddens Siren,Resident Evil,Fatal Frame (or Project Zero as its called around here) and Silent Hill is my favourite horror series cant wait for Siren 3.

But after playing Fatal Frame 3 I found Siren to be much better in my opinion if it had been a chooise between FF2 and Siren I would probably had said FF2.

Fatal Frame while beautiful and scary I found the two previous FF games to be much better and would have prefered Siren in your case.

Siren is indeed a hard game but if one have patience one will learn that Siren is indeed one of the best horror titles out there.

Try Siren 2 aswell its while it has the same problems as first game gameplaywise its somewhat easier plus one can pick up the weapons of the enemies aswell and use it against them this time ;D

Beaten them all so I can say I enjoyed them all just recently finished Silent Hill Origin now Iam just waiting for Siren 3,Silent Hill 5 and hopefully as FF4 but have not heard anything of if any is in make at all.

Alone in the Dark 5 looks a bit interesting but taking in consideration that I did not like AITD4 The Nightmare that much I will not have to high hopes as yet.

Fatal Frame 3 rules! Its a very good game, and scares the hell out of me when I play it alone in the dark. I just love the story line they have gone with, its the best out of the fatal frame series.
