Wow actually looks pretty awesome, but isn't it just a remake of Siren 1? I don't get that at all. The game is barely 5 years old! Give us a new game. Bah.

Its a bit strange that part seems to take place some time after Orginal Siren 1 yet seems to be somewhat a retelling of orginal siren but with americans.

It seems though there will be both new and familiar faces but maybe has other roles then in the first siren.

I got the chance to play the demo though and seems the combat is still somewhat stiffy but there is instant kill moves this time like pushing a Shibito off a bridge or hammer it with a pipe etc.

Graphical wise it looks really nice aswell.

Maybe they just want to get more western audience with this retelling so they have more players for the real deal Siren3?
Like Capcom did with Resident Evil Remake somewhat?

Cus Siren only hit EU mostly as that was why we got Siren 2 aswell.

So they get more american players this time before the release of Siren 3 as said?

I'm not sure why, but i find this idea quite hilarious. I can almost picture a Shibito groaning and flailing whilst falling to it's watery grave.

As i understand it, the plot revolves around an American film crew that arrives in Hanuda to document the town and it's strange history. I wonder if Harumi will make an appearance in it somehow?

Well Harumi had a cameo in Siren 2 doubt she will be in this one.

Seems there is another girl though named Belle which somewhat reminds me of Harumi.

When I first saw the trailers I thougth it actually was Harumi that been adopted by the american couple and brougth back to Hanuda but people thinks she looks to white and spoke american(which ofcourse she could if she had been adopted) but I guess this Belle character is new entirly but who knows.....Could be a renamed and adopted Harumi?

Miyako however seems to be in this game or a Miyako like character atleast.

Belle is the girl with pigtails at the end of the gameplay footage trailer, right? The one going on about the bogeyman? I think you're right in Harumi not showing up. It wouldn't make much sense as it seems that most - if not all - of the playable characters are from the US.

From what i've seen of the game so far, it looks pretty good. Those shibito sure look like they can haul ass! It had better come out in the US damnit. Perhaps they would release Siren 2 as well if they did! That would be most awesome.

Yeah the girl with pigtails(which Harumi also had ;D) is the Belle character.
Saw a screenshot of new translation picturing her a beautiful sunset and flying "angels" dont like the looks of that if one shall take poor Tomoko's fate from Siren 1 in consideration which experienced something similar hopefully Belle will fare better:P

I live in EU so I already have Siren 2 but I both wish and hope they re-release Siren 2 in the states aswell tough I liked Siren 1's plot and character more Siren 2 was not without charm plus a bit better gameplaywise.

As it was a new story entirly I guess one dont need to have played Siren 2 to probably enjoy new translation or a possible Siren 3 but one miss a good storyline and enjoyable characters from Siren 2.

But on this semi-remake it seems they are doing their best to catch the attension of western audince especially americans it seems.

So hopefully this is because they hope that the true Siren 3 will be released in both eu and us this time?

Damn I have lost all interest in the Siren seies now that the latest one concerns Americans. Why can't they just leave the game 'authentic' and keep Japanese people. Instead , the game is going to be full of corny yanky lines and sayings similar to resident evil.
