And the kids got genes from both parents, grandparents, and great grandparents so they don't have to look like each other or their parents(I know people with dark brown hair and brown eyes and their parents have blonde hair and blue eyes *ahem me and my sister*)

umm, I have twin brothers and they don't look anything alike. People don't even think they are brothers when they look at them. You don't have to look the same or be the same height if your a twin, triplet, quintuplet etc.
shareSimple science and the simple difference of being FRATERNAL or IDENTICAL: Fraternal twins, trips, quads, quints, etc. means each individual came from his or her OWN egg and was completed with individual sperm. That means, one egg/one sperm EACH, they are all different. Identical means ONE fertilized egg (meaning, one sperm got in) split off into two, three, four, five, etc. and so they all got the same genetic make up and come out looking the SAME.
