Dont quintuplets have to be born at the same time?

Are you trying to tell me those kids are supposed to be the same age??? Parker looks five years older than pattern!

reply

First of all he's called Patton.Second yes quintuplets are like twins or triplets but they are 5 of them. Born the same day. Last but not least that's exactly it. Parker is taller than Patton because "supposedly" he got the best genes...

soironic...that's the funny thing/point of this show. that's the spin to the show: parker, patton, paige, penny, and pearce are quintuplets who have very different personalities and who look nothing alike.

reply

patton is a runt. Similar to what happens sometimes in a litter of puppies

reply

Yeah the twin, triplet, or as the case may be quintuplet who gets the least amount of air coming out of their mother is normally smaller, or has a mental disfunction, ergo, Patton being short. And the kids got genes from both parents, grandparents, and great grandparents so they don't have to look like each other or their parents(I know people with dark brown hair and brown eyes and their parents have blonde hair and blue eyes *ahem me and my sister*)

reply

just because ur siblings it doesnt mean u have to look the same i mean im 6 foot with brown hair and pale skin and my brother is 5"8 with darker skin one of my sisters is 5"5 with brown hair and pale skin and my other sister is 5"7 with blond hair and darker skin, granted we wasnt all born at the same time but we have the same parents.

umm, I have twin brothers and they don't look anything alike. People don't even think they are brothers when they look at them. You don't have to look the same or be the same height if your a twin, triplet, quintuplet etc.

Simple science and the simple difference of being FRATERNAL or IDENTICAL: Fraternal twins, trips, quads, quints, etc. means each individual came from his or her OWN egg and was completed with individual sperm. That means, one egg/one sperm EACH, they are all different. Identical means ONE fertilized egg (meaning, one sperm got in) split off into two, three, four, five, etc. and so they all got the same genetic make up and come out looking the SAME.

Ta da! Science lesson over for the day, folks!

It can if the mother is on fertility medication, which I believe the mother in the show was.

reply

Yeah, Bob said they were "cooked up in a lab" Unlike the competing Quintuplet family, where all the kids looked alike. Besides, I think Parker should be jealous of Patton. Remember those growth hormones he's been on since he was four? Well, they worked, just not in the way he expected.

it's not called 'siblings' , it's called quintuplets.
5 babies born at the same time and they look the same.

what a sad end to young johnny.

reply

Actually non-identical quintuplets is the norm. There has been only like seven sets of identical quintuplets ever reported.
