Okay, pardon my ignorance. I just caught the last 5 or so minutes of Quintuplets, and I've never seen it before. I usually just watch The Simple Life. Anyway! I saw Pearce (I think that's his name?) dancing with a guy, and then his dad saying "he got his son his fella back". So, is Pearce's character gay?

You know, I was just wondering the same thing. I love the show, but I missed the past two episodes. So when I saw this tonight I was like, did I miss something? I'm guessing that he is b/c he stole the guy away from Penny...he was originally her date. I know that doesn't help any b/c I don't have a straight answer...pardon the pun. But I was just wondering the same thing...does anyone know?

His parents flat out asked and he said 'No, I'm not gay, it's all about the dance', but I've always thought Pearce would be the gay one ever since the series started.

No, Pearce isn't gay. He is just abnoxiously stupid and accepts a gay person's offer to go to the high school dance because Pearce feels that the gay boy is the only one worthy to dance with such a swing dancing expert as himself. He's too dumb to even consider the fact that what he is doing is gay.

Pearce is not gay, I watched the whole episode. Pearce was asked by his parents if he had a date for the dance, he said no cuz no one could keep up with him dancewise like with swing and such. So Penny and her date was walking by pearce's room and pearce was trying to show parker how to swing dance, and penny's date saw him and asked about different swing dances and such. Then it switched to downstairs and penny's date smiling and saying bye to the parents. Then Pearce and Penny walk down stairs and Penny is yelling at Pearce and then here comes the maybe Pearce is gay idea from the dad, but Pearce said no one could understand the dance like Penny's x date could, so no Pearce isn't gay hes just stupid, basically he got the leftover brain cells that the other kids didn't use lol, cuz the intelligence runs in the quints like this in my opinion, Penny, Parker, Patton, Paige, and Pearce, so you can see that Penny is the brainiac, and Pearce is the wierdo.

So I guess from your formula, that's why people confuse Tom Cruise and Mel Gibson with being homosexual. They're both really really weird and they're not tv characters.
First off Pearce is NOT gay. But the boy he went to the homecoming dance was. He just wanted a good swing partner.
Second Pearce is NOT stupid. He just marches to a drummer all his own. His character is the funniest thing on the show and his zaniness is very endearing. If I had a kid like him I'd be very worried but since he's just a TV character, he's like someone else's puppy. A lotta fun to visit and play with but somebody else's job to clean up after.
Well, we don't know for now. We'll have to wait and see if Pearce really is gay or not, but I'm pretty sure he's hot.
But then again, if you think about it...I mean it's not like that Matt character (from that one episode) is just going to leave forever. Matt'll come back. He and Pearce are obviously friends now, or a couple, cause that ending says so. That episode's ending was awful. He and Pearce swing to that song from those Nabisco commercials, "Sing, sing, sing," and Matt just leaves. I forgot what happenned to Pearce, but it must've been something like that. Which means the story between them is obviously unfinished. If there even is a story. I mean, if Pearce is gay of course. But, I don't think he is.

Johnny Lewis himself is not gay. You can tell from all the other movies and stuff he's been in. He's not gay. But as for the character goes, I'm undecided.
If y'all can look back to that episode, when Bob asked him if he was gay, Pearce kind of hesitated to respond. He wore a yellow shirt, not that there's anything wrong with that cause yellow is just a color and colors don't mean anything, but it's just that I've been seeing a lot of...never mind. Plus..., oh, damn! What else was I going to say? Oh wow. I wrote a lot. Well, I hope this answers your question.
