Who won this thing?

Yea, just never saw it, wondering who won.

All the Americans won; Morimoto and Sakai lost. And if memory serves, Sakai/Batali won the tag team.

Actually, I believe Flay/Morimoto won the tag team, which seemed weird, because Sakai and Batali seemed to have a much better 'vibe' going on.

How many battles between the masters were there? (not including tag team battles)

I only saw two and the Americans won both times.

I watched Iron Chef America: The Series last night, and it appeared to me that Rick Bayless wiped the floor with Bobby Flay. Yet Flay won by one point.

Now understand, I love Food Network and watch it every day. But I wouldn't be surprised if THEIR chefs win every one of these battles because, well, Food tv is looking out for their properties.

I don't know, it just seems odd. I wonder if the show continues if other Ftv folks join the mix. Tyler Florence? Giada? Would Emeril do this?

Later.

I agree completely. Even the judges comments reflected the fact that Bayless should have won. He did everything smoothly, while Flay made mistakes and his food clearly showed this to the judges - totaly bummer about the verdict; there WAS something weird that went into it.

Flay/Morimoto won the tag battle, and it looked like they deserved to. Also, Puck most definately beat Morimoto in battle egg. Morimoto's dishes looked incredible, what with the duck, Kobe, tuna, and what not, but Puck definately used his eggs as the showcase.
