I really enjoyed Iron Chef America: Battle of the Masters.. It was way better than that last attempt at an American Iron Chef (Iron Chef USA with chairman Captain Kirk)

What was your favorite battle?

1. Bobby Flay vs. Hiroyuki Sakai
2. Mario Batali vs. Masaharu Morimoto.
3. Wolfgang Puck vs. Masaharu Morimoto
4. Team Battle Flay & Morimoto vs. Batali & Sakai

I'd have to say mine is a cross between 1 and 4. The Flay vs. Sakai battle was really fun.. The theme ingredient was Trout, which they had to fish out of a tank with a net...

The team battle was also great because it teamed Flay with Morimoto, and Flay has battled with Morimoto twice a few years ago so it was fun to see them team up... Although their team didn't seem that good, I was surprised at the results.

P.S. That judge on the last 2 battles, the food critic guy, seemed like a real a**hole. Maybe he'll become Iron Chef America's own version of Kishi Asako (the really mean judge on the original iron chef =P)

My favorite was the egg battle, Morimoto and Puck. I agree with you, for all the crap they had go wrong, the Flay/Morimoto combo, which looked like they were going to get their asses handed to them, came up with some incredible dishes.
