Hi

Are there any other filsm like this (not of the obvious higher budgeted filsm like LOTR), so far I have seen

Earthsea
River World
Sword of Xanten

And would love to know whether there are any other films like this?

You must ABSOLUTELY watch The 10th kingdom (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0207275/)
... it's a 10 part TV miniseries... just amazing... I actually prefer it to LoTR it's so funny and original and immersive.

Another nice low-budget movie is Army of Darkness http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0106308/ ... it started as a horror, but it ended up as a fantasy/action/comedy... really nice

Try The New Movie Eragon, but its more a dragon/ good-evil war sort of movie

Look for Tales of Earthsea, an Anime movie that's based on the books that are sequels to the ones this miniseries is based on.
