Watching this show, I find it as a mix of Most Haunted and Ghost Hunters:
Most Haunted: The same, stupid "contact the spirit world" junk, plus asking the spirit to do certain things and then having that thing ALWAYS be done.
Ghosr Hunters: Cool EVPs.

Ghost Hunters is the WEAK show because they have no "psychic insight". Now if you ever wanted to see lower-middle class, beer guzzling/beer belly-having, blue-collar dumazzes at work, watch that show. They catch orbs on video and discount them as DUST!!! Can't get any DUMBER than this...I think the ghosts they hunt just stand back and laugh at them or keep silent.
THey'd better damned sure keep their jobs @ Roter Rooter...

I must confess I haven't seen either of these shows (I will be checking them out though, just for comparison), but whoever created/directs/films this show has obviously got "Blair Witch Project" permanently installed in their DVD player.
If I have to watch one more shot with a night-vision lens aimed squarely up Gail Porter's nose in close-up, I'm changing channels.

I agree, GH is the weakest, it's way too much soap opera and team quarrels, it just appears so phony and 'Hollywood' because of it. The best IMO is "Haunted Homes" (a UK show also on DVD), followed by DF.
