does anyone think that this show is fake???

well do they?

reply

Yes, I do. My husband and I just finished watching the episode where they looked for John Lennon's spirit. Did anyone notice that the man who made himself to look like John had dark hair in one scene and then he had white hair (with dark sideburns) in another scene? They say that they get some good EVPs but they never play it for us.

It just doesn't live up to what it promises.

I saw the John Lennon episode, and that John Lennon impersonator was so fake, it wasn't funny. Even the hosts of the show didn't believe him.

As for the change of hair colour, I think it's to do with the night vision that the show is filmed in.

When Chris channeled Joan Crawford I thought it was believable.
When people are channelling spirits, its hard to invite a spirit in and not have yourself reject the new energy.

I don't think it's fake, but I know it's not real. It's entertainment that's all. Funny how they seem to have hits everywhere they go. Especially when they don't seem to spend more than a day in each location, no?

reply

Oh I think how easily they could fake all of it - but it's fun to sit down and watch with someone to get yourself in a scared mood even if you think it might be fake :) Plus Gail is just so adorable, I love watching her.

The thing that does make me cringe in this show and just reeks of being *beep* is when Chris "invites" the spirits into his body and speaks for them; you know when they have seances? It just makes me cringe watching him throw his head back and stutter his words - it looks exactly the same every time he does it, no matter what spirit he claims is taking over his body!

With me, it`s the glowing eyes!I have to wonder what the reletives of the famous must think of this.

I thought that John Lennon impersonator was fake also.

This show is in no way fake.
It sounds to me like you are sitting there trying to find fault because you either are a non believer or scared that what they are experiencing could happen to you, and one day with any luck it will. There are many things on the footage of each show that they do not point out, but there are shadows and orbs that they either don't see or overlook.
If you don't like the show maybe you should exercise your rights and reach for the remote and turn channels.

I think it could well be fake!
Now I know what show to get a skeptic of Most Haunted to watch lol.
Because Most Haunted is decent and believable and I don't think that is fake at all!
But this, it just all seems like there acting it, I dunno, especially as the "psychic" guy gets imformation before he goes to each location!

Yep, Fake.

Not fake, Ghost Hunters though, looks incredibly fake compared.

Sometimes it seems like they are looking for a spirit in a place that is haunted, even though the celebrity had little to do with that place. The bios are interesting although I would have liked to see younger people profiled instead of mostly stars from the 40's and 50's.
