Why is Alinne Moraes photo and not Tais?

I've never understood i this. The characters of Preta (Tais Araujo) and Paco (Reynaldo Gianecchini), were the MAIN focus of this novela NOT Alinne's character. Is it done to draw more viewers to watching the novela, when it's presented on tv or cable?
